What to expect before arrival and during a private whole-house machiya stay.
Choose a stay
Each machiya is rented as a private whole house. Capacity, bedding, kitchen, washing machine, and parking differ by property, so check the individual listing.
Browse staysBooking and changes
Use the official booking page for availability and new reservations. If you booked through an OTA such as Booking.com or Agoda, make changes or cancellations through that OTA.
Before arrival
Check-in is from 16:00 to 19:00. Entry from 15:00 may be available when stated in your instructions. Contact us about 30 minutes before arrival; arrival support is planned within approximately 15 minutes either side of the arranged time.
Luggage
Luggage cannot be accepted before 12:00. From 12:00, luggage may be dropped off. Follow the details in your arrival instructions.
During your stay
Our stays are in quiet residential neighbourhoods. Please keep noise low, especially at night. All properties are non-smoking. Thank you for your cooperation.
Check-out
Check-out is at 11:00. Current guests can find property-specific guidance and contact information on the guest site.
